94-year-old Walter started collecting way back 60 years ago, and it’s been his and his late wife’s passion ever since. Over those six decades, the Jobsons amassed an extraordinary collection of petrol and oil memorabilia, automotive collectables, advertising signs, petrol pumps, oil bottles, tins and much more.
Part 3 brings another outstanding selection to the auction block, featuring original enamel advertising signs from Waratah, Texaco, Shell, Atlantic, Mobiloil, Plume, Ampol, Veedol and Golden Fleece, alongside embossed oil bottles and pourers, rare oil tins, petrol pump canteens and globes, and other quality garage memorabilia.
Highlights include an early ornate brass and marble National cash register, superb original petrol and oil signage, and an impressive line-up of early visible petrol pumps from Golden Fleece, Neptune, BP/COR, Shell and more.
